June is the Month when we Honor Fathers in the United States. The Masculine energy figures prominently in the heavens now, as the Sun is activating the Pluto/Uranus square, and Saturn prepares to end its retrograde. The Sacred Feminine has penetrated the Sacred Masculine with the Venus Transit.

We Honor your struggle as men in this world, and we call you with voices of Love to open your hearts. Stand beside us in Sacred Union, hear our cries. Reclaim your true masculinity, your wholeness, your heart!

To those of you who answer the call of your Intuition, we honor you in this Big Shift. We honor you for the risks you have taken. For as far back as we can remember in society, we have broken the spirit of our children the way we break a horse in, and we called that parenting. In this day and age when women rise in their strength, we wish to honor you for following your HEART. For as a society, we have trained our boys so well from such a fragile age to toughen up, work themselves into the ground, and join the ranks. We have made men “disposable” in doing so and compromised our own human integrity.

A man raised in 20th century American society is traumatized by the culture. How well you can steel yourself against trauma and keep going is a measure of your manhood. Stuffing your emotions, self-denial, and self-sacrifice are masculine virtues. Your sexuality is considered dangerous and must be controlled, and yet, everyone agrees: ‘boys will be boys.”

Is that working for you? Trading off the richness of intimacy and deep erotic satisfaction for a pendulum swinging between control and self-denial and a quest for youthful horniness.

What price are you paying in failed or dysfunctional relationships with the ones closest to you: lovers, partners, children?

What legacy of pain are you leaving your children -- the next generation?

What great work are you failing to launch?

Women have their time now; everything is shifting, and now is our Moment. We are prepared, equipped for ALL THINGS. More than this, we are beginning to unite into ONE body, seeking growth and wellness at all cost. As the Dalai Lama has said, The world will be saved by the Western Woman.

Only if you Men Unite with us as ONE body!

We the Women NEED you MEN, awakened Warrior-Kings. Together we are committed to the Great Work of healing, preparing, and creating the New World that is already here.

We must learn to live in it! Let go of the past, the ways we learned, and Unite in Creative Service to the Sacred Feminine and the Sacred Masculine.

Protectors, Defenders, Creators, and Lovers of the Earth and all her Children,

A Sun Ritual for Men:

The man who sat on the ground in his tipi meditating on life and its meaning, accepting the kinship of all creatures and acknowledging unity with the universe of things was infusing into his being the true essence of civilization. - Luther Standing Bear, Lakota

"This sun ritual was given to relations at dearbrutus to help open hearts. It is one that is well-known by many traditions.

Stand facing the sun with your chest bare and your palms open to the sunlight. Feel the sun’s rays on your left-side chest area warming up your heart. If you like, imagine the sun’s warmth is filling your heart with every in-drawn breath.

You should do this exercise for a few minutes every day. Semi-cloudy conditions also permit doing the exercise so long as there is some shadow. At the end of the ritual do an obeisance to the sun and thank it for its help.

We The Women" is a gathering of Shaman, Priestess, and Medicine Women who collectively work for the Cosmic and Earthly tribe of one. Fire, Lightning, Rain Shift Perspective

A number of years ago I was at a cross road.  One of those places where you can see the choices, you can follow the choices to where they lead and you still have no indication which path to take.  Each one a passion, each one full of promise and possibility, and each one having its trials and set backs.  So how do you choose?

I asked a teacher how to choose?  Not looking for an answer of which path to take, but rather how to arrive at the decision myself.  I will never forget the answer.  "If you want to heal the warrior within, where do you begin?  Do you begin in the east of beginnings?  Or the southeast with the healer?  Or the northwest with the teacher?  Or do you begin in the chaos of the northeast where the warrior sits?"  At first the answer seemed more confusing than revealing.  I was told to go to the east and lay down to look upward to see things from a different perspective.  Each step I was told to either to climb a tree to look down or lay upon the earth to look up simply to see things from a different perspective.


I find myself once more at one of those crossroads.  The paths which reveal possibilities endless.  The lesson from so long ago "flooding" back in.  "The same posture, the same sequence, the same meditation with a different intention takes on an entirely new meaning ..."  The intention this weekend was to spend time in ceremony.  Both personal and a larger healing ceremony for healing to honor the Summer Solstice.  The difference this weekend was the weather.  In years past I would have shifted the fire to a small one on the patio if there was a storm approaching.  Remembering the lesson, I made the intention to have my larger ceremony rain or shine.

We started the fire early so that by sunset it was a hot fire that may with stand the rains.  As the afternoon wore on, "Debby" our tropical storm began to show up and make her self present in every way.  Time shifted by the fire as there was no way to tell by the skies when it was dusk.  The fire roared even as the rains came down.  The clouds like a time lapse video as the winds carried them quickly across the skies.  I carried on.  Mother Earth and Grandfather Skies honored, prayers sent, bundles added to the fire, and songs lifted in celebration.


(I am sure that my neighbors now believe I am certifiable as this crazy lady danced and sang around a bonfire during a tropical storm.)


As the fire proceeded, the storm worsened.  The thunder and lightning began.  The skies alight.  It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies to see the elements in all their glory come together for a moment in time.  The winds.  The rains.  The fire.  The dirt beneath my toes.  I became lost in the experience.  


The water from the rain now at my ankles as the moat overflowed, but still the flames of the fire spoke.  So I remained to listen.  And then ...


In a single moment, all the elements came together within to merge and unite.  In a single breath all was one.  My perspective shifted.  Paths fell away to show a single path.  The world stopped. And I am forever changed.


The rain was coming down hard and thunder cracked above when a single strand of lightning came down and kissed the earth.  The electricity surged through the ground and up into my toes that were buried in Mother Earth.  Vibrations fluttering all the way down into my finger tips as the flames danced.  Not an experience I can easily put into words.

I also decided once I returned to this reality, that standing in a pool of water in the middle of a field during a tropical storm with lightning was not the most sane idea.  Shortly after returning inside we lost power and I was left in silence to reflect upon the visions and experience.  Another gift from the Great Spirit.

A simple shift in perspective can reveal so much ...

This Ain’t No Party; This Ain’t No Disco; This Ain’t No Fooling Around

The rumbling you hear in the sky is a spiritual revolution. This is the first of seven exact squares occurring between these two amazingly powerful forces of change. Pluto is squaring Uranus exactly today, and if you haven’t felt this in some part of your body, you may see it in relationships, your home, or whatever makes you feel bolted to the ground.

The force is coming through, so that you may be released. It is the same idea behind a willow tree that bends in the winds of a hurricane as opposed to the tall oak that doesn’t fold to outer sources. The willow tends to come through the weather because of its willingness to flow with the energy. The oak breaks, leaving it stumped.

So if things are coming unglued or changing in some way, it is for your own protection, so that you are able to bend with the strong force bolting through the cosmos. Both Pluto and Uranus are collective vibrations that make sweeping statements, not just through personal lives, but through all.

Fill your heart with love. Kiss the earth, and give gratitude for the beauty that we share. Send your vibration to those you love, to your neighbors, and to those far away places that your eyes have never seen. Allow this moment to be. Let it flow with dignity to all, so that we may find our way through this cloud of mystical change. The heart of the world breaks apart in a gesture of compassion, so that we may all know the meaning of LOVE.
