The Dance of Balance: A Year In Review and The Future

There comes a time when each of us pause to reflect backwards to see where we have been in order to see the path before us.  It is a dance of balance.

This past twelve months, I have had the great pleasure of teaching thirteen workshops from one week to six months long, many overlapping one another.  I was honored and humbled to participate as the National Direction of Connections for the Awesome Women Hub Tour (thank you again Robin my life is forever changed).  I got to do a bit of travel.  Finished two books and one was just released.  We had three healing ceremonies with one hosting over 1,000 participants.  Two global fire ceremonies with Sacred Pathways (Kinlen always my soul is touched).  A vortex activated.  We had the vision of a Sacred Lodge of Sisters coming together, we birthed it, and we have watched it grow into over 5,000 strong in a matter of months.  I have been blessed to work with Kay of Here Women Talk as a co-host for the past few months on her radio show YAK; as well as being a guest on a variety of radio shows.  I have been humbled to watch some students become teachers and others to step into their authentic soul self's.  I have been blessed and humbled to officiate a few sacred unions and more than a few celebrations of life ceremonies.  I have been able to speak my passion for life on a larger scope a number of times.  And that is just the highlights.  There has been the opportunity to meet hundreds of friends face to face this year that I have known on the Internet for years.  What a year !!!

With all of life there is time for pauses.  I often share about the "pictures"; the pictures that guide my journeys.  Given a small piece of the big jigsaw puzzle.  It seems always a small piece at a time; never interlocked multiple pieces at once.  After a time, the puzzle is completed and it is time to pick up and find a new puzzle to work upon.  It has been a ride this year for sure.  Now it is time to jump off the coaster and take a break.  I often share about balance.  Balance is time to play with time to work, time to laugh with time to be serious, and time to be with time to do.  So I am taking time to play, time to laugh, and time to be.

Chicago in a few days, then off to Sacramento, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe.  Some time on Captiva and some time to sit on a swing to feel a summer breeze, watch the hummingbirds drink the nectar from the bottle brush, play with some frogs in the puddle oceans created by summer storms, and be amazed by my children and how they have become adults so quickly.

After tomorrow, I will check in, perhaps write a blog or two, share some recorded meditations, and check email.  Yet, for the most part I will be unplugged from all the technology and play in some puddles with the frogs.  See you all in the Fall !!!  My hope is you dance in the rain, play in the sun, and rest in the shade.

Bloom where you are planted: Collective Message from We The Women

The seeds of change. Just as the seed must be planted into the soil to grow, so too must our own individual seeds be planted. We now enter a time when the smallest sprouts begin to emerge from the dark rich soil of the earth. It is a time of emerging. Our spring forth into the brilliance of summer days. We look to nature. Just as there are times when the skies do not provide the water, we too must ensure that we "water" our soul's seeds. As we experience the beauty of the blossoms, we must remember that it is still a time to tend our gardens. We must remember to pause and nurture ourselves. We are experiencing great spurts of wisdom and growth, deeper energetic shifts, and the warmth of the sun's rays. We must, however, not forget we still need to be ever vigilant to take care that the "weeds" of old beliefs, old emotions...our old stories...and continuously release them from our soul garden. This will ensure that we reap the benefits of our harvest in the fall.

Over the next few months, it is vitally important that we self-nurture and self-love our own beings to remain in balance with our own energies. Giving must be balanced with receiving. Our "tribes" are forming and becoming unified in nature; however, they will only thrive when we as individuals thrive. Each individual soul must strive to enable the peace and harmony within to be brought to the "tribe". We must be vigilant about our personal integrity. In remembering that we are all connected in the Web of Live, we need also be mindful that our collective chain is only as strong as its weakest link. This is not judgement. This is not comparison. This is about responsibility. Each of us is being called to hold our own Self fully accountable to *walk our talk*.

To keep balance and flow, we must continue to follow our hearts. We must trust our inner core and lead from the vulnerable, generous places within us which now understands how vital EACH of us are to OUR Common state of Well-being and Wholeness. All of us play a critical role in the healing that is coming; we are among the first to beckon it. We will leave behind a powerful legacy of Healing that all future generations will revere. 

So we are free now. Explore your unique gifts. Give from that uniqueness; and do not worry should others call you weak or compromised, for their voices are fastly fading into the past. Our role is to embody Love wherever we find our Selves...to bloom where we are planted! The vibration of our work will ripple out - restore broken places, help to heal the deep wounds of our world. WE will nurture and heal in Unison now, as it was meant to be. 

Emit your loving vibration wherever you go, and when a loving vibration presents itself to you, connect with it and amplify it. It is a means by which deep transformation will occur far beyond what governments, politicians and laws can achieve. Just as Zeus of the old Greek Legends, we will birth ideas and solutions of unprecedented nature in this world - and we will nurture them - and they will propagate and replicate as a result of our efforts.

Choose to view our world as a truly magnificent and perfect place, and it shall become so.Mirror this to all - help remind everyone. In time, the memory of balance will overpower all sense of vindictiveness and separation that has been perpetuated throughout history. Our past does not define who we have become. The change we bring will not come about with weapons, with force, or with willful movement. It will come about as we all work in concert. TOGETHER. If we root ourselves in Gaia, we will be nurtured and sustained all our days. We will be restored into Oneness with all of Nature once more.

Most importantly, we must each cultivate our OWN inner connection so that it is kept pure and clear from fear at all times. We are Divine. We are remarkable, beautiful, magnificent and unique, each in our own way. So now we know the truth -- that our greatest strength comes from the most tender core of our beings. This is what makes us both fully human and fully divine simultaneously. There is no temple yet built to host this most unique and sacred awareness and intention. The world honors you. Move confidently forward in grace.

The time to dream and recreate is now.  Although challenges from your past may show up in various forms during this magnified, multidemensional time, it is appropriate to continue making your future dreams a reality.

The Universe makes sure we get past lessons about who we are through life situations that present duality.  This gives us opportunity to choose which path to take.  There will always be choice, but sometimes the Universe presents us with energic openings in life that allow us to take steps into our dreams.

This is one of those gateways.  Take the opportunity now to look your past in the eye and find peace, but to also participate in the situation differently.  Outcomes depend on outlook, not to mention intention.  Surely if time and energy are invested, life will offer opportunity.

Believe in the possiblities, and vastness of the Universe.  Know that we live in the playround of life, which wants us to fall down and scrape our knees, so that we can find our divine strength in the healing power within. 

Venus is about the cross the disc of the Sun on June 5th.  All of the energy is being shuffled as I write this blog.  The Sun, Mercury, and Venus will all be residing in Gemini on Sunday, May 27th, and the energy will continue to build toward the 5th.

Mercury will square Chiron later in the week, which will bring up past wounds once again.  This wave started a week ago.  This Universe is letting in the old, to heal the present.  Move into it like the warrior that you are, and remember to keep your heart intact as you continue to progress into your dream.

Keep reaching ~ Growth is right before you if you can keep your balance between the light and darkness within ~  This is going to be quite the ride ~
