A Change of Reality For Peace: We The Women Community

Artist Danielle Nette
Created after a gathering for a Ceremony

Every action we take can be an action of service and love.  We built the We The Women community as a conscious and intentional action of service and love.  In times when many have lost their connection to community, it is vital to join together.  It is in this joining together, in this sharing of medicine, sharing of service that we elevate the human society.  We are all related in the circle of life.

To stand together, to cooperate with one another, to co-create with one another is a return to our ancient teachings.  It is through intentional focused energy of community that we begin t change society - change for a reality of peace.

It was shared with me long ago that to change anything one must engage, one must take focused action.  Any change begins with a single ordinary action.  It was also shared with me "to do the pictures".  In December of 2011, we gathered together for the first time.  We are Shaman, Priestess, Alchemist and Medicine Women whose sole purpose is to collectively work for the Cosmic and Earthly tribe of one. We gathered together in a sacred lodge.  Our Circle of the Sacred Feminine energy had the focused intention of always being open with no boundaries, to unify and add our collective energetic flow to the world and beyond the sacred web of life.

While our gatherings remain private, as we use this time to celebrate and envision the future of tomorrow; we share the collective messages that are gifted to We the Women during our journeys and fires. We are of diverse paths, crossing boundaries and cultures, to create a circle that supports our communities.

Each of the Sacred Lodge Sisters is from different backgrounds and traditions.  This circle of women is a divine orchestration of Spirit and our connection is strong in Spirit and synchronicity to truly build bridges between traditions in order to have a collective energy.

Through this divine orchestration of women, we uplift and carry each other's messages and medicines.  This has clearly shown each of us it is a time of interdependence. It is a time of coming together as individuals to work for the collective - for there is power in community.

The times we live in allow us to connect across global, cultural, ethnic and spiritual borders. In some ways our paradigms of community are changing. Our ideas of time and space are changing. It is a time of prophecy when Eagle and Condor will fly in the sky together. A time when Eagle, modern day ways, flies with Condor, ancient wisdom.

Already in these four short months after birthing, we have brought the despacho ceremony online, bringing Shaman fire ceremonies, Priestess gatherings, and building of additional Peace Chambers in the physical realm.  There are a multitude of collaborative efforts happening, from joint workshops and journeys to Peru to collaborative books being birthed.  They said it wouldn’t work.  They said it could not be done.

Community gathered with focused intent of creating bridges through love and service.  With Your love.  With Your service.  With Your intention.  With Your gifts.  WE are changing the world one ripple at a time.  I know I speak for each of the Sacred Lodge Sisters when I say ..... For this, We thank you.  We are in humble honor and awe of this journey.

A Call to the Blood Stream of Mother Earth

The river she is flowing
flowing and growing
The river she is flowing
down to the sea

Mother, carry me
Your child I will always be
Mother, carry me
down to the sea.
Ancient Chant

We are in the bloodstream of the Mother when we are in her oceans, lakes, and rivers.  It is then we remember we are flowing in the stream of The Universe.  After the flames of the fire comes the balance of cleansing water. There is a call to the nourishing waters.  Water to balance and temper the fire of transmutation and balance the grounding of Earth’s energy.  We have spent a great deal of time these first four months of the year with Earth, with transmuting and releasing of energy, it is now time to return to the waters.  For times immemorial, the streams of the water have been used to cleanse and purify the energies of the world. Water can transmute energy, as all elements can, yet water does so in a feminine, gentle way.  The call heard is a call to bring forth the feminine energy and to communicate in the feminine ways even further.

Water is feminine.  Water is malleable, it is shape-able and mutable.  Water is the meeting place between Father sky and Mother Earth. Our medicine must include the healing waters, and the time is now.  All wounds are cleansed by water, tears wash away our tears, and the tears of heaven's rain washes the waters of earth.  Human tears are not a sign of weakness, rather a sign we have been strong for too long and a release is needed. It is vitally important to remember that release brings peace. We must think of our tears as diamonds for, indeed, their release is precious ....necessary for both personal and global healing.

Water transmutes the energies in its own way – from solid ice, to melting liquid, to gas vapor just as the tears of the body and the tears of skies transmute.  Water is the equalizer between the masculine and the feminine.  It is a precious gift which must be revered and respected. Water is both a life-giving and life-sustaining element, a perpetual force of nature to be honored.

When we listen to the waters they remind us we must go with the flow, our own flow and that of Mother Earth. One can not fight a rip tide else they may be carried away to the depths.  Water must be respected, as all elements, for its power - it can be a gentle, slow changer, or a forceful mover - capable of destruction, yet it gives life. We too are like water, in constant motion, constant flow. There are times when we are still, peaceful and every ripple from a stone is experienced. Then there are times when we are rushing, crashing like a wave against the stone. It is all part of the natural ebb and tide.

Our bodies cannot be sustained long without the gift of water, and we must stop taking it for granted. Water also shares with us the lesson of patience - it can take thousands of years to mold rock, make sand, change land mass or, can be a tsunami and wreak immediate havoc and destruction. Just as fire can be a candle's flame to light our way or destroy a forest when not contained.

The call of water - the call to the cycle of release, purification, and the life-giving element. We pause to offer a prayer.

Sacred Water, We give thanks to all the Waters of the world for quenching our thirst and providing us with strength. Water is life. We know its power in many forms - waterfalls and rain, mists and streams, rivers and oceans. With one heart, we send greetings and thanks to the spirit of water. Now our spirits are one. AHO!! (Prayer by Cuauhtli Cihuatl)

Beginning this month at the end of each collective message we will share a teaching or medicine ritual to help bring in the medicine of the collective message.

As we hear the call of water to our daily lives, we offer simple ceremony for our own soul being.

Water and prayer create cleansing rituals. The simplest way to bring a practice of purification into your day is during your time in the shower. Begin your morning with a vigorous sea salt scrub with the intention of clearing any negativeness or impurities from your system. Let water carry these away and wash you clean as you offer a prayer of thanks.

Moon Water has been used by many traditions to honor and bring the power of water into the physical body. To prepare Moon Water, place drinking water in a clear pitcher or bowl (must be made out of glass or crystal, clear and with no designs or motifs on it). Cover it with cheese cloth or a clean cotton towel so insects and/or leaves do not enter into it. Leave outdoors over night, then in early morning bring indoors and drink a glass before breakfast and throughout the day until the pitcher of water is finished. It is preferable to do this for nine days. Why nine days? The Mayans, Aztecs and Incas believe in the nine spirits of healing, the nine healing dimensions and the nine cycles of grieving.  In following the traditions to honor the nine spirits, nine dimensions and nine cycles, we follow the ritual for nine days.

The worldwide family of Peace Chambers hold a fire ceremony on the seventh of each month to honor and heal the waters of the world and connect with the Mer People. Vibrationally water is strongly connected with the life of the Peace Chamber and all our ceremonies. We learn that water is "liquid light." When we take our first water in ceremony after a dry fast, we are infused with "liquid light." We are invited to remember this each time we drink water. We are made of water, so we are made of light. When we give up our water in the sweat lodge, the "liquid light" is carrying away our impurities, those toxic beliefs, emotions, fears, and false limitations that stop us from being all we came to this life to be, and serving in the pure and magnificent way we came to serve.

Relationships Feeling The Transition: Weekly Vibe with Laurissa Heller

Who are we, when we are at our best? Let me help you with this answer, just a little--It changes, everything changes with the exception of the timeless motion. We came here to keep shedding pieces, so we can grow new parts. The best teacher of non-attachment is time.

Relationships are going to be feeling the transition this week. Reaching out may feel a little difficult so take deep breaths. Enough that you can feel your ribs expand. Feel it move into your pelvis and connect it to the Earth below your feet. VIsualize your feet tucked into the Earth, connected to the vibrant, nurturing energy that has the ability to absorb your worries. Much of the barrier may feel like it is around friends or how we relate in larger circles outside of the home.

We may feel the need to express to our companions the boundless energy moving through, but the words continue to float through space without ever landing. There is a feeling, a notion, and a need, but bringing in to form to connect with others may prove to be a challenge.

Much of our focused energy will be delivered through our work. Each step is an opportunity to deliver ourselves. In fact, so much energy will focused at our work that everything else may feel out of focus.

It is wonderful to express through labor, but remember that all parts of the whole make you more productive and healthy. It is important to take care of ourselves, along with our efforts around producing. Remember to breathe, to get outside and be, and connect with the people in your life.

If it is foggy, it is just fine, the space in-between is filled with the vibrant energy of the mystical experience taking place at this very moment. How special, how lovely, how mesmerizing the expansion is, and it is readily available to us. Drink in the volume: it is filled with high vibrational love.
