Women Leading the Way Together by Sherryl Frauenglass

Women Leading the Way Together... REALLY together! - How to leave the old paradigm behind.
Guest blog post by:  Sherryl Frauenglass

There are times when another speaks the words that are within your soul, Sherryl's note begs the answer to what each of us need to do in order to emerge and evolve in the world today.

Moving forward together!
How far have we REALLY come as women towards working together collaboratively in a spirit of generosity and cooperation? I've been asking this question of myself over the past few weeks.

I've noticed that I still compare myself to other women, that I worry that there isn't enough to go around, that somehow I will be left in the dust while others are living the life of their dreams. Feelings of jealousy emerge when another woman is doing something that I wish I were doing or that I judge is "better" or "beyond" where I am. My intellect knows that this is ridiculous. My heart knows that I am unique and have gifts to offer the world that are unlike anyone elses. My ego still wants to be the center of attention and have people praise me for being brilliant, wise, innovative, creative and "better than" someone else. After all the "work" I've done on myself, these feelings make no logical sense and yet they energetically creep into conversations and sneakily weave their way into what otherwise would be a purely giving and loving acts. As I have revealed this to friends, most of them say that they experience these same feelings, especially when engaging with other women.

So how do we TRULY transcend this so that we can live fully in this new paradigm of women working together?

For me, the first step has been to admit that I have these feelings. My old tendency would have been to go into some deep analysis of the whys, spending hours scanning my past to find where I had felt unloved or insecure. Our world is shifting too rapidly now for us to spend much time in deep self-analysis. Knowing the cause doesn't even guarantee that our feelings and behaviors will change. If we can acknowledge our feelings without being attached to them, then we can move on. As long as we live in a human body, we will have an ego, so we might as well just let it have it's say, "thank you for sharing", perhaps even laugh at it's little games.

For women to trust each other again, I think it's also important for us to acknowledge how we have hurt each other in the past. I don't think there is a woman out there who hasn't felt betrayed or hurt by another woman. Again, there is no need to dwell in feeling bad or be overly apologetic about our history. There is something so freeing about admitting that we forgot who we are and forgot that our sisters are walking beside us and are not against us. When we take responsibility for the part we have played, without beating ourselves up for it, then our sisters hear us and feel safe to take responsibility for their own part.

This does not need to be a long, drawn out process. The world is changing so rapidly and we are being called to lead the way in the great shift that is occurring. Ultimately it is not even about women or men. We are emerging as an integrated, human species and leaving behind our limited definition of what it means to be in a male or female body. If we each ask ourselves, "what do I need to do today to leave the past behind and move forward?", then we can more gracefully expand into our newly emerging world side by side.

The Ancient Teachings of the Sacred Fire

Sacred Teachings of Fire

I was asked about the Sacred Teachings of the Fire.  The following is a brief synopsis of my own perceptions of the Sacred Teachings.

The Sacred Teachings of Fire are the very highest domains of knowledge.  The teachings are not simply knowledge, but rather a synthesis of wisdom that unites all knowledge while purifying the consciousness.  The clarity gained through the teachings lead one to the origin - the cauldron of their soul.  The Sacred Eternal Flame that is invoked and ignited brings a pure conscious awareness into a clear standard in daily living.  When the illusive delusion of duality is crossed into unification of the soul, it is then one comes home and the simplicity of the Eternal Flame is understood.

Initiation

In the Sacred Teachings of the Fire the degree of initiation has certain levels of attainment in progressing through the conscious awareness.  With every initiation or degree of the Teachings, there is great responsibility.  The deeper into the teachings that one delves; the more vital it is to ensure that the guidance and protection of the Divine is sought.  It is vital to ensure that a degree of sacred witness is maintained.  This serves to ensure the guidance is coming from the continuum of the fire teachings and its lineage.  It is like a thread of your tapestry which is anchored within the teachings.  This allows for an alignment of the body, mind, and spirit in an unbroken concentric thread of light.

This thread is an evocative support and foundation for the sacrament of the soul.  It provides for communion with the Divine; direct link for unity to the source of Divinity which promises the eternal reward of eternal love.  This intent is a choice and must be evident in the vigilance of application to the teachings.

Mantras and Invocations

The mantras are simply a way to activate dynamic energy in order to quiet the constant barrage of thoughts, mental chatter, and clear perceptional beliefs in your consciousness.  It is used to still the consciousness in order to unify it with the spiritual realms.  It can also be used to invoke the spiritual realm as it quiets the mind.  There are various forms of Mantra’s that have been used since ancient times.  The word mantra itself is from the Sanskrit writings.  The use of a mantra truly transcends the normal boundaries of time and confinement allowing one to enter a blissful state within the inner temple or eternal flame of the soul.  It can bring one to a state of actual wholeness within eliminating all separation of the individual duality thinking.  The ‘I AM’ state exists within the spaces of a mantra.

There is a symbolic symbol of the soul.  Within this symbol or the center of the heart, the cauldron represents various aspects of purification and transformation.  The initiations into the cauldron of the soul consist of deep entrance to every aspect of the human development in order to transfigure into a unified spiritual being.

Within the silent stillness of meditation, one can invoke the Hierarchy of the Lord of Fire and the connection to the center of the Heart as the link to Agni.  Affirm that the cultivation and deepening of seeking conscious awareness is done with vigilance and reverence.  It is the truth expounded by silence that is the perfect sacred teachings of the fire.  It is the way of the sacred heart; the way of the Eternal flames of love.  The pure consciousness and awareness brings about the actualization of attentiveness, discipline in thinking and actualization of unity.

The Sacred teachings are there for all to be blessed and loved.  The initiates are the gifts of life, of pure love, and pure light.  The source of this light, love, and life transforms you into a whole, complete and divine being.  It releases the human limitation of duality concepts, conditioning, and belief system.  This allows you to become free from the entanglement of karmic bindings.  One can become soul-centered, a luminous extension of the rays of light that radiate the universe.  The loving life rays stream down from the cosmos.

An initiate must obey the laws of love to become unified and christalized as a luminary.  This would be a perfect transformation and mystical transfiguration.  Each is a mirror of the soul, the soul in which the Divine is reflected within.  It is this reflection that reveals the nameless one that is at the center of the cosmic hierarchy.  There is no reason for religious disharmony or conflict with personal disharmony when the truth is known.  In the realm of Truth there is no separation as truth unifies and is the qualifying spiritual fitness reasoning to be received.  The teachings bring you right in the relation to whom you are and where you are; finding your center - the I Am of your being.  This is the conscious mindfulness that transcends forms revealing bliss of the soul, truth, and authenticity.  This is manifested in the infinite universe of both spiritual and mundane.

The Sacred Flames of Eternal Love within the heart overflows the Sacred Chalice within like a rhythmic pulsation of life’s ocean waves.

It is my hope that this has given you an insight into the teachings of the Sacred Fire and that a spark within you ignites into your own flame.  A flame based upon eternal love.

Negative Imprints and Psychic Hooks - A Shamanic Perspective

There are times when the imprints left upon our energetic body do not serve us well.  Our energetic body makes a signature which leaves an imprint with every engagement that transpires.  This means that every time you have a conversation, see something, hear something, do something, or even think something your own personal energetic body is affected; whether it is consciously or subconsciously.  Your beliefs, your thoughts, your passions, and even your fears make an imprint on your soul which in turns connects with the Universal energetic flow.

Though we may not be able to determine, even if we are watching a situation from a sacred witness standpoint, why we feel the way we feel; we can immediately determine if something resonates with our soul or not.  When we allow a situation that does not resonate with our own souls to continue, what happens is an imprint (some refer to it as a hook or energetic cord) is made upon our energetic matrix.  Many times we try to judge and blame another person for a hook or imprint upon our matrix.  You are responsible and accountable for your own energetic flow.  No one can imprint or hook your energetic body unless you allow them to.

It happens to everyone, however, that this imprint or hook occurs.  To ensure this hook does not become a lasting imprint upon our body and binds you to an energetic frequency that does not resonate with you, you must release the hook.

When energies are viewed from an energetic perspective, many will see them as a darkness in the auric field to a slimy or crystalline sphere.  The impulse that is sent out are like a beacon to call in like energy.  Just as when a person has a radiant light that causes them to “glow”, a hook or implant of lower frequency energy will appear to the human eye as a pallor or depressed, fatigued appearance.   Many times this lower frequency energy is simply misplaced energy.  It serves a purpose but is not in accord or harmony with soul it has attached to.

Many ask where this energy comes from.  We all know that emotional states such as stress, fear, or anger cause a person to have physiological effects.  Energetically these emotional states can cause your own energy to create these hooks or imprints to happen.   This type of energy is stored and eventually can become an imprint.  If there was an injury to the physical body, this can also cause imprints.

It is vital that this energetic imprint or hook is released.  The lasting effect of it upon the physical body can (and usually does) into disease.   When left unattended, this energetic imprint can manifest into what some may refer to as possession or feeling attacked.  This beacon of lower frequency energy calls out like an open invitation to other energies of the same frequency; much the same as sharing loving energies fills a person with more love and gratitude.   The difficulty that exists is when a soul is shrouded in this lower energy; they lose the ability to see things from an objective perspective.  Their own free will becomes the driver in charge and they can become incapable of shifting the energy on their own.

The process of self-liberation from a lower energetic frequency is daunting, but it is possible.  Identifying the origin of the cause is the first step.  Finding the spiritual energetic current that began the spiral downward is paramount.

The discovery process it’s self is not as important as the journey one takes to get there.  For many that I have worked with, beginning with writing in a journal while in sacred space begins the process.

I begin each journal session personally by setting sacred space asking Spirit to help me uncover and discover the root cause.  To enhance your inner Sacred space begin by visualizing your inner fire.  See your heart as the sun radiating a warm heat with its rays of light upon you.  Feel the warmth deeply within and simply ask that your pen be guided by Spirit.  It really does not have to be more complicated than that to begin.

Write for at least ten minutes whatever thoughts come to mind.  Don’t judge the thoughts – simply allow them to flow freely.  It may take the persistent practice of writing in a journal to truly begin to feel Spirit guide your words; however, the vigilance will pay off.  Many will tell you to simply obtain the services of a Shaman or healer and have them do the extraction of the hook or removal of the imprinted energies.  It has been my experience that taking the time, with the assistance of a guide/mentor/Shaman, when delving deep within your own self for the root causes the hook does not return.  Whereas, having another perform for you may be the quick fix but in the long term if the intention / cause is not discovered, the imprint / hook returns.

Can you define what makes a leader?

A leader.  The dictionary describes it as One that leads or guides.  After watching a couple of video's that were sent to me this morning, I decided to ask some of my friends on Facebook what they thought.  What they defined as a leader.

Here is some of what they said:

Integrity, Stamina when everyone else is too tired, and Courage to stand up

discernment too see it what it is that motivates others..and the wisdom to see what it takes to reach them and the ability to do what it takes to bring out the best in them

the desire

humility

An inner "knowing" that you have no other choice, that it is your path to lead, to keep the frequency and high energy for others.

Ability: and by that I mean, you have to have the ability to visualize, execute, listen, pursue, ect. if we lack ability then transforming or executing leadership becomes non existent.

Leading by example _ showing the way ..

I paused and had to really go deep within to answer the question for myself.

To be a true leader, one must be a visionary.

I see being a leader as someone who has a vision.  If you have no vision then where are you going to lead people to?  With that being said, becoming a leader is a not something one chooses; rather it is a process that happens as the vision evolves.

But having a vision is not the end of the story.  One needs to have conscious intention of how to achieve the vision.  They must begin to "walk the walk" towards their own personal full potential.  Seeing the picture as a whole, knowing that the missing pieces will be found.   They must be able to inspire people not only with their words, but in the practice of their walk.

A true visionary may not have all the skills or talents that are needed to fulfill their vision; however, their passion and desire to achieve the greatness of their vision will inspire others to fill the missing pieces.  Which leads me to the second ingredient.

To be a true leader, one must have humility.

Humility is required as many times as human beings our own ego's can step and shift our "walk".  Unless one can accept their own defects, their own weakness (and we all have them) they will never be able to ask for help.  Help in spiritual guidance and help from others to support the vision.

I had a spiritual mentor a very long time ago describe humility as the perpetual quietness of the heart.  When the heart is quiet, then you can hear the winds of the elders speaking.  when the heart is quiet, then you can see from a sacred witness perspective.   When the heart is quiet, it is then that the inner "knowing" can lead.
What I have learned is that very few true leaders have the ability to do all, see all, and be all.  What they do have is vision and humility.  They have a self awareness of who they are and what their vision is.  They have the self-confidence to allow others who have the abilities that they do not to surround them in a tribe to raise up a community.

I believe that each one of us can be that leader.  Perhaps you have not discovered your vision; then you can be a leader for those lost as you walk the path of discovery.  Perhaps you do not feel the fire of passion within; then you can be a leader for those finding their own sparks to ignite their fire.  Courage to stand up and be heard comes from the fire of your vision; from that inner knowing of the stillness in your heart of what you believe in.

When you engage in leadership, when you inspire, challenge or motivate another - you are a leader.  Whether you are a leader in your home (they call it being a parent), a leader in your job, your community, or your world - engage your life and be the person you want to inspire, be the person you want to follow, be the leader in your life.

So ask yourself the question, "Am I a leader that I want to follow?"

Do you have a vision? Nothing is impossible if only ....

I was asked if I would share a bit more on my journey.  I have only shared this once before in a public arena and that was at the Women As Visionaries Event this past February.  Spirit told me “it is time”; so here I am

The year was 1997 and my then 12 year old daughter came home with a piece of paper from her Life skills class in middle school.  The paper asked question as when her first steps were, what her favorite story was, and favorite game as a toddler was.  I had to tell that little girl I didn't remember.  You see I was lost in addiction when she was little and had not even kept a baby book.

I went to a spiritual mentor of mine at the time and expressed my remorse and guilt over the impossibility of ever getting that time back.  He looked me in the eyes and said "Carla, Nothing is Impossible if only you believe, if only you are willing to do the work, and if only you trust in God".  Time was not something possible in my mind.

About one month later we found out that my baby girl had to have major surgery done as she was born without a hip ball and socket on her right side.  She was left captive in a wheel chair and in a vast amount of pain from a long operation and rehab period.  Over the next few months I got to learn what her favorite game was and her favorite story.

We went back to the hospital to prepare for the second surgery, the doctor told Nicole "Nicole, you might not be able to run a marathon but you won't have any more pain."  Nicole looked up at him and said something to the effect of, "my mommy says nothing is Impossible if only you believe, if only you are willing to do the work, and if only you trust in God."

Three weeks later I was called down to a PT room and my daughter stopped me at the threshold of the door.  For the first time in months she walked across the room unassisted and wrapped her little arms around my neck and whispered "mommy I just gave you back my first steps."

Nothing is Impossible if only you believe, if only you are willing to do the work, and if only you trust in God.  That same little girl is 25 now serving as a Military Police Officer Drill Sargent.  She completed her first marathon last year in Berlin Germany.

Over the next two years I was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer, CNS Lupus, had a heart attack, developed a seizure disorder, and transverse myelitis.  It was my turn to be held captive.  I was given last rites three times.  My doctor told me in 1998 that things did not look good.  I told him nothing is Impossible if only you believe, if only you are willing to do the work, and if only you trust in God.  There would come a day when I would rise up, I would stand up, I would speak up and I would share my fire and belief.

Do you have a vision?  Do you have a message to share with the world?    What is stopping you?

I am here to tell you that nothing is Impossible if only you believe, if only you are willing to do the work, and if only you trust in Spirit.  Believe in your visions.  Work towards your visions.  And most importantly Trust in Spirit to manifest your visions.

I wish for each of you a fire that nourishes your soul and feeds your visions.

My wishes are heartfelt.  mwah

Question Time: Why did you say Yes?

I was asked why I said “Yes”.  Why I said yes to not only participate by attending, but to become a part of the National Team of Awesome Women Hub Tour.

Let me start by sharing a story with you.

I once had a spiritual mentor that shared with me if I believed, if I was willing to do the work, and if I trusted Spirit absolutely anything was possible.   In 1997 I was diagnosed with cancer, I had a heart attack, was diagnosed with CNS Lupus, and I developed Transverse Myelitis.   I lost my hair, lost the ability to walk, and even lost the ability to control my motor functions.  I remember a doctor telling my husband it didn’t look so good.  In the next moment I remember what that spiritual mentor shared with me.  I believed that this was not the end, I was willing to do whatever was necessary to not only survive but to live, and I trusted that Spirit would see me through.  I vowed one day I would stand up, speak up, and share with the world “we can change the world” if only we believe, we are willing to do the work, and we trust.

I believe that a “tribe” will come together both in cities across the globe and communities online.  I believe that by being present in the moment having active participation in a global energetic wave, this amazing “tribe” will change the world.  I believe that each one of us have the answers within us and when we come together in unity we solve the riddles of what to do next.

Recently everyone stood in awe as we watched the citizens of Egypt rise up into a single voice to “change their world”.  It started with a post on Facebook.   A single post by a woman, who believed, was willing to stand up and trusted in the spirits of her fellow citizens.  She started a revolution.  Think about that for a moment.

Now envision a gathering of empowered women who all have the answers within them of what their world needs next.  They come together as a single voice and “sing” the change to the world in a video, through social media, and blogs.  Imagine.

As a Shaman, I see things from an energetic point of view.  I see the vibration of a single voice and how that voice reverberates into ripples that stretch across the globe.  We all saw it happen.  One woman’s post literally changed the world.  Her ripple combined to create an energetic wave that transformed Egypt and truly the world.  I want to be part of that energetic ripple that sends waves out into the Universe.

Each one of us has a piece of the answer – I believe that this gathering of spirits will find the answers and create a change that will blaze a new path for others to follow.

That is why I said “yes”.  Join me?  www.awesomewomenhub.com or on FaceBook at www.facebook.com/AwesomeWomenHub

So the conversation begins ...

“How will this “tribe” of women change the world?” Each of us have a different and unique answer. My answer, “Through the active presence, active communication, and active connections they bring to blazing this new path.” The real purpose of the Awesome Women Hub Tour is to start the conversation. To hear what other women think the world needs next. To take that conversation and put the active and conscious action behind it to become a unified voice.

So the conversation begins ...

Facebook-Born “Awesome Women Hub” Launches Nationwide Tour to Tap Members’ World-Changing Vision and Energy

“What The World Needs Next Tour” Will Bring Together Women from Virtual Community for Two-Day “RE-Think Tank” and Music Video Project to be Distributed Virally around Globe

(Baltimore, MD - April 11, 2011) The Awesome Women Hub, with a force of over 14,000 active members that started as a Facebook page only a year ago, is kicking off a nationwide tour that will bring women together from the virtual community for two days of inspiration and creative action. It will begin with a globally-focused “RE-Think Tank” and culminate in a collaboratively created music video to be shared virally. Their first video received 10,000 views in 15 days and one new video is planned for each tour stop.

The tour, the brainchild of Awesome Women Hub Founder Robin Rice, was a natural next step for the Facebook-born organization – which focuses on promoting more feminine models of business engagement. These models include the concept that collaboration can supersede competition, especially when using social media and that new media can be used to grow awareness around causes that are important to women.

The “What the World Needs Next Tour” is for women of all ages, sizes, backgrounds and professions who have a desire to re-vision the world and then learn how to use social media to share their messages. With songs donated for each video, the primary purpose of the tour is to capture the world vision and powerful energy of the hub’s members —many of whom are business owners and community leaders.

“We are at cross-roads in just about every area of life in our world, and women often feel there is nothing they can do to change it,” notes Rice, an internationally published author. “That may have been true a few years ago, but the Internet has changed everything. Used in community, we can put immense power behind our voices.”

The “What the World Needs Next Tour” kicks off May 7 & 8 in the Baltimore/DC area.
Next, the tour heads to New York City the weekend of June 18 & 19.  Additional tour stops include Nashville, New England, Central Florida and Los Angeles with new cities being added as the tour gathers momentum.

Top musicians have generously gifted their songs to the tour to create the videos which will feature all the women at the event and their thoughts on what the world needs next.  Musicians include Jana Stanfield, who has been seen on Oprah and the movie 8 Seconds; Emmy-winning songwriter, Faith Rivera, who has worked with Brian McKnight and Luther Vandross; and Grammy nominee Karen Taylor-Good.  The music video from each tour stop will be posted on You Tube and distributed through the Awesome Women Hub Facebook page and other social media outlets.
